Se ne parla già da alcune settimane e pare sia vero: ci sono i ripetitori WiFi sul campanile di Morsano e di Castions!Tuttavia, non ci sono notizie sul funzionamento del sistema. Il volantino con la lista degli eventi del comune invita a vedere le informazioni che si trovano al riguardo sul sito internet del comune... il quale rimanda al sito di Wi.Fly... il quale rimanda indietro al sito del comune...
Ad ogni modo, il presidente della regione Illy, durante l'apertura della conferenza InnovAction 2007 a Gennaio ha annunciato la nascita di un'azienda a partecipazione regionale, incaricata di sviluppare le infrastrutture per il WiMax in tutta la regione. Le prime antenne verranno installate nella zona montana per poi scendere a valle (si suppone).
Abbiamo provato a cercare qualche informazione in merito e non siamo riusciti a trovare nulla. Di certo qualcosa si sta muovendo ma è strano che non ci sia nessuna specifica notizia in rete.
Sarebbe bello avere disponibile:
- il piano di sviluppo del progetto
- i tempi di messa in funzione (1 mese, 3 mesi 1 anno, 2 anni???)
- i costi per l'utente una volta che l'impianto sarà funzionante
- una relazione su simili implementazioni in altre zone del mondo per capire i pro e contro
Siamo per ora perplessi dalla mancanza di informazioni o comunque dalla mancanza di informazioni facilmente reperibili in rete.

Non ci resta che attendere con pazienza e distrarci leggendo cosa dicono gli abitanti di altre zone del Friuli sulla mancanza di connessione veloce "SCONNESSI" da il quotidiano "Il Friuli".
